PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) strengthens cooperation with the Prosperous Blitar Poultry Farmer Cooperative in anticipating the price hike in food, especially eggs that have occurred recently.

This also aims to ensure quality, evaluate, and discuss plans to improve future cooperation programs

This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between PT FSTJ and the Prosperous Poultry Farmers Cooperative Blitar.

It was also attended by representatives from Bank Indonesia for Jakarta Branch and representatives from Bank Indonesia Kediri at the partner's Production Warehouse, Dadapanggu Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency, Tuesday (9/13).

PT FDTJ President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said that the Prosperous Blitar Poultry Farmers Cooperative is a partner in chicken egg production which has been a supplier of eggs for subsidized low-cost food programs.

With this cooperation, the Prosperous Blitar Poultry Farmers Cooperative stated its ability to supply the needs for eggs for the subsidized low-cost food program to ensure food security and inflation in Jakarta are maintained and under control.

"This also aims to ensure quality, evaluate, and discuss plans to improve future cooperation programs," he expressed, Wednesday (9/14).

He explained that the review with representatives of Bank Indonesia was carried out starting from visits to cages, production or packaging warehouses to the ceremonial delivery of five tons of eggs to the locations of beneficiaries of the subsidized food program in Jakarta.

The visit to the location of the production partner is very important to ensure the availability of eggs for cheap subsidized food is safe and absorption will continue to be increased, either in quantity or quality.

"Food Station's role in food security, especially eggs, is one form of support for inflation control in Jakarta," he explained.

For production cost efficiency, his party would support egg production partners by supplying corn through cultivation programs and collaborating with universities in making efficient but quality animal feed formulations.

he said that the eggs shipment to the Food Station, which was initially five tons, would also be increased to 20 tons per shipment by synergizing with PT KAI to streamline transportation costs.

"It also minimizes the risk of product damage, thus the egg market is not only for subsidized food but also be added through commercial businesses to bakery production partners, hotels, restaurants, etc," he added.

Poultry Farmers Cooperative Chairman, Sukarman utterred his party will continue to improve quality, ensure stock availability, and price affordability.

"We will also try to learn together in formulating more efficient feed thus in the future egg prices are more stable and quality is guaranteed," he closed.
